One of my favorite things is grumpy characters showing unexpected softness. So I really like the brief moment of Auron consoling Tidus after his temper tantrum. I meant to include one more cap where he says "Irritating, I know," after Tidus has just raged at him about how he doesn't have any choice. Because he knows what that feels like; he's been trapped in a situation where there were other options, but there was really only one he could take.
And yeah the emulator is letting me take really good screencaps. They have such great expressions.
Yeah I had to look closely (again, thanks emulator!) but the Anima Sola around Anima's neck does have the flames and chains. It's a lot clearer in the art though. Nghh I love all the layers of symbolism and mythology in this game. There are so many things that are so easy to miss unless you've played it a few times or go back and look at everything closely. But they're there.
Who knows if Lulu would have actually accepted the proposal, we never actually hear her opinion of the subject, but yeah I imagine in his excitement Chappu would have proposed to her on the spot.
Haha yeah you probably shouldn't say "Come at me, bro" to a woman with a frightening fists. ;)
