Ugh seriously. They mention several times throughout this game that Wakka and Lulu are incompatible, even without the awkwardness of them being linked by a dead guy, and then the writers for the sequel just kind of shrugged and said, "Well, whatever." It makes me SO MAD that they couldn't come up with a better plot for Lulu than just being an incubator in the background the entire time. Once they decided not to have her as one of the main characters they just gave up.
Hahaha though if she had been the protagonist of either game, it would have been a much bleaker Final Fantasy experience. An awesome one, though. :D
And yeah I am an anti-sportsfan so I feel you there.
